Dudley Baker

Dudley BakerDudley Pierce Baker is the owner/editor of Precious Metals Warrants. Dudley started this unique investment service in March 2005 and has a worldwide subscriber base providing complete details on all warrants trading on the natural resources shares as well as opening up his entire portfolio in his, “A Look Over My Shoulder”.
Dudley has been an investor for many years. With a major in Accounting he went to work for the Internal Revenue Service as an IRS Agent. The intent was to spend 5 years or so, learn as much as possible and then get ‘a real job’; but now looking back, this ‘early retirement’ has worked out great. ’Yes, many of you may not like this IRS thing, but, that was many years ago and he accepted an early retirement in 1996 at age 50 and 29 years of service.
Many of his years were as a ‘Revenue Agent – Team Coordinator’ heading up the audits of some of the largest corporations in the world, and going head to head with some of the big law firms in Washington and New York. Those years and experiences are but a distant memory and he currently does not represent any clients, nor in anyway offer tax advice. He comes from a numbers’ background and that is what should be important to you as a subscriber or potential subscriber to his service.
Dudley follows many of the top analysts and newsletter writers and resides in Ajijic, Mexico.

Jeff Berwick

Jeff BerwickA self-described financial freedom fighter, Jeff Berwick founded Canada’s largest financial website, Stockhouse.com, in 1994. The company expanded worldwide into 8 different countries and had a market capitalization of $240 million USD at the peak of the “tech bubble”. He was the CEO from 1994 until 2002 when he sold the company and still continued on as a director afterwards until 2007. Stockhouse.com was and still is used by nearly a million investors.

After selling Stockhouse, Berwick went forth to travel the world by sailboat but after one year of sailing his boat sank in a storm off the coast of El Salvador. After being saved clinging to his surfboard with nothing but a pair of surfing shorts left of his material possessions he decided to travel the world as spontaneously as possible with one overarching goal: See and understand the world with his own eyes, not through the lens of the media.

During this time he met and spoke with a plethora of amazing people, from self-made billionaires to some of the brightest minds in finance – as well as entrepreneurs running street noodle carts in Shanghai and Tacos Al Pastor stalls in the smallest of towns in Mexico. He also read everything he could find on how the world really works politically and financially – a pursuit he continues to this day.

He is now the founder and Chief Editor of The Dollar Vigilante, a free-market financial newsletter with its groundings in Austrian economics.

Sean Brodrick

Sean BrodrickWhen Sean Brodrick graduated college with a journalism degree, he experienced the Internet boom and bust firsthand as the personal finance website he worked for suffered a spectacular flameout. The experience of being dumped on the curb with a handful of useless stock options gave him an appreciation for real assets. Today, Sean’s specialty is natural resources … especially the little-known, undervalued foreign stocks he picks as likely to ride the next wave of the commodity supercycle.

Sean has a trio of services — Crisis Profit Hunter, Red-Hot Commodity ETFs and Red-Hot Global Small-Caps. He also contributes weekly to UncommonWisdomDaily.com. His special reports, including “The Golden Age of Green Energy” and “The New Gold Rush – to $2,000 and Beyond,” have gathered accolades from investors and industry insiders alike. And his book, The Ultimate Suburban Survivalist Guide, which helps prepares readers for all sorts of physical and economic crises, hit Amazon.com’s best-seller list.

Sean is a weekly guest on one of Canada’s premiere financial websites, HoweStreet.com, and from time to time he makes appearances on various U.S. radio and TV news programs. He contributes semi-regularly to Dow Jones Marketwatch.

He travels far and wide to seek out small-cap values in the natural resource sector.

In November 2005, he paid a record $8.5 million for the legendary King of Siam proof set originally presented as a diplomatic gift on behalf of President Andrew Jackson to the King of Siam (now Thailand) in 1836. He made worldwide news in May 2010 by selling the unique 1794 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar believe by many experts to be the first silver dollar ever struck by the U.S. Mint. His experience is so vast that scores of companies try and lure him to look at their projects. Why? Because they know if their project has Dave’s seal of approval, a lot of serious market players and other analysts will take notice.

David was one of the first (along with Eric) to call the current cycle as the secular trend others have only recently recognized. They made that call back in 2001. David is a regular speaker at resource and commodity investment shows in North America and Europe, and has been interviewed numerous times on radio and TV and in third party news articles for his opinions on the gold sector and resource stocks in general.

He regularly speaks at a number of North American gold and resource conferences. He was one of the first analysts (along with David) to point out the disastrous effects of gold hedging and gold loan capital financing (1997) and to predict the start of the current secular bull market in commodities based on the movement of the US Dollar (2001) and the acceleration of growth in Asia and India.

Covering 70 producing or near production miners, and using unique valuation metrics to select the best values, the results from GSA’s Top 10 Stocks portfolio have been spectacular: Up 130% in 2009 and up 1,027% in the past decade.

Ian Gordon

Ian GordonThe son of a British military officer, Ian followed in his Father’s footsteps and graduated from The Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. He served as a Platoon Commander in the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Four years later in 1967 Ian immigrated to Canada where he entered the History Department at the University of Manitoba—a decision that has had a profound impact on his career to this day. It was during this period that he began to study the historical trends that ultimately provided the foundation for his Long Wave theory.

It wasn’t until 1983 that Ian entered the financial realm. He worked as a stock broker in Ontario for eight years before working in Management for three more years in Toronto and Vancouver. It was 1998 when Ian determined that the Long Wave Theory was too compelling to ignore any longer. He began writing the Long Wave Analyst and re-entered the sales side of the business. He accurately predicted the end of the massive equity bull market and also accurately predicted the beginnings of the current gold bull market. By 2003, Ian was the #1 performer at Canaccord Capital (Canada’s largest independent brokerage firm)—a position he maintained until he left the firm in late 2005.

The need to access further institutional investment, vital to supporting Ian’s financings prompted him to move his team to Bolder Investment Partners in late 2005. The move to Bolder proved very successful for Ian and his team, accelerating the momentum that had been gained at Canaccord previously. Ian served as a Vice President of Bolder for three years.

The Long Wave Theory, in addition to a keen sense of what constitutes a winning deal, has enabled Ian and his team to enjoy meteoric growth over the last decade. This success has enabled Ian to chart the course for the next leg of his journey.

The same Long Wave principles that have guided Ian for the last decade are just as relevant today as they were a decade ago. These principles very accurately predicted the collapse of the financial markets—a prediction that factored heavily into Ian’s investment strategies over the last decade. His focus now is the next decade. Ian is focusing his attention on using the same Long Wave principles to help define next steps for both institutional and retail investors.

The Long Wave Group, a company dedicated to this pursuit has been formed, and Ian, the Long Wave Analyst himself, is assuming the reins as Chairman. Ian’s experience and expertise, in addition to his infectious passion and enthusiasm, will serve as a guiding beacon for employees and clients alike.
